As I compose this post it is snowing…you know that soft, gently falling snow that makes you gaze out the window in awe…big flakes…think Currier and Ives…
This slide show has photos I took throughout the month of January when a large part of the States were experiencing some of Winter’s fury. Have a cuppa and enjoy the photos from the warmth of your home. After two weeks of inversion it was great to see the sky and sun again.
Our state is in desperate need of snow to refill the reservoirs come Spring. Like so many states in the West, drought conditions exist. Snow levels in the mountains are very low.
To those of you still dealing with snow and cold temperatures, I am sending you warm and comforting thoughts. To those of you who have thawed out and are beginning to see early signs of Spring, enjoy. Wishing all of you a happy week!
