Morning after the dust storm
Last night the wind picked up and blew dust from miles away. The dust continues to linger on the horizon. Morning dawned with an eery gloom. The air is oppressive. The leaves of the trees refuse to rustle. No breeze to stir them. Even the usual flurry of birds in the early morning is not here.
